About Towie Az®

Having Started a Tow truck company (The 1770 Towing Service) in 2015 and starting with my mate’s car trailer and his 4wd, I could not have thought that I would be creating my own brand. The Towie Az® brand started over wanting the personalised plates TOWIE AZ® and being told no as they are on the obscene list. Not taking no for an answer, I created a business name, then a company and the Australian/American trademark. I can confidently say I now own the personalised plates TOWIE AZ®.

As an owner and operator in the towing industry who had minimal or no experience in running a small business, I state that there is not much this business hasn’t been through, which is why the Towie Az® logo is a checkered plate to represent behind the scenes strength.

The Towie Az® brand is all about empowering and supporting women to move forward. I want to help women where I haven’t been helped and inspire and support women in this industry and encourage more women to work in it.

About Amanda

Amanda founded the 1770 Towing service in 2015. Equipped with 4WD and a trailer, she is the only woman to start a towing company without a tow truck. Over the years, the all-female team has grown, and we now service Agnes Water and surrounds with one fully equipped tow truck, anytime, anywhere. Towie Az®!
